BoshMeasure and BoshPrice

Enter the job the way a builder thinks about it.

Pick the work - two rooms painted, a wall built, a roof re-covered, a bathroom fitted, an extension - and answer only the measurements that calculation needs. JobBosh turns them into quantities with wastage and pack rounding, labour hours at your rates, plant, waste, welfare and transport, then overhead, contingency and markup, with VAT handled the way your registration says.

What it does

  • Thirty recipes across decorating, plastering, bricklaying and blockwork, carpentry and joinery, roofing and guttering, groundworks and drainage, landscaping and paving, plumbing, electrical, tiling, flooring, kitchens, bathrooms and strip-out; five project assemblies (single-storey extension, loft conversion, house renovation, small new build, commercial fit-out) that break a big job into stages.
  • An unknown is never a zero. A stage with a missing answer stays unpriced and says what it needs; a line with no price source is listed as unpriced, not hidden in the total.
  • Markup and margin are shown as two different numbers, because they are. A 25 % markup on cost is a 20 % margin on price.
  • Every default - coverage, productivity, wastage - is labelled assumed until you change it, and your own rates and prices replace the defaults on every job you open.

What it does not pretend

  • JobBosh prices from your crew rates and the material prices you record or receive from suppliers. It ships with no live merchant price feed; the historic rate books it carries are a labelled reference, not a price.
  • Reduced and zero VAT rates apply to qualifying work only; JobBosh shows the rate you choose and reminds you it needs confirming against the rules for that job.
