BoshQuote
A document the customer trusts, under your name.
From the estimate JobBosh builds the customer's document: your identity and logo, a clear scope in plain English, inclusions and exclusions, assumptions, provisional sums, programme, who provides what on site, the price with VAT shown correctly, payment stages, your terms, how changes are handled and how to accept. It is classified honestly - budget estimate, indicative estimate or quotation - and it is frozen the moment it is created.
What it does
- A frozen version carries a hash. A change to the job creates a new version; an issued document is never silently rewritten.
- The customer gets a secure link (and a PDF where the renderer is installed) and can accept, ask a question or request a change. Acceptance is recorded against the exact version, with the time and the acceptor's details.
- Your cost sheet, margin and supplier figures never appear on the customer's document. A 'Prepared with JobBosh' footer appears only if you switch it on.
What it does not pretend
- A quotation with unpriced or unknown items should be an indicative estimate or carry named provisional sums; JobBosh warns you before you create it.
- PDF rendering needs Chromium on the server; where it is absent the web view carries the same frozen document and the app says so.
