The van costs money before the first brick.
Each job carries its journeys: the daily run, the survey, the tip run, the collection, per vehicle and per day. JobBosh costs fuel from your vehicle's real consumption and a recorded fuel price, adds running cost, parking and paid travel time, and checks the site postcode and the route against a dated catalogue of road charges: the London Congestion Charge, ULEZ and LEZ, the Clean Air Zones, the Scottish Low Emission Zones, the Dartford Crossing and the M6 Toll.
What it does
- A charge is counted per chargeable day or per crossing, never per mile, and the same day is never charged twice for one scheme.
- Emission-based schemes depend on your vehicle. JobBosh never decides compliance from make and model: it asks you to check the operator's official checker and record the result, and shows the exposure as 'confirm' until you do.
- Every rule carries its source page, the date it was read and whether the figure came from the operator's own page or a secondary source.
What it does not pretend
- Live routing and traffic need a provider key the owner holds. Without it distances are estimated from the postcodes and labelled as estimates; you can always enter the miles and minutes yourself.
- Fuel prices are not guessed. Without a recorded price the fuel line is shown as unknown.
